Google Business Profile integration

A review is a message with an audience.

A Google review is a customer talking about you in public. It ranks above your own website, it is the first thing a stranger reads, and it usually sits unanswered for a month because nobody owns the login. Connect your Google Business Profile and reviews arrive in this+that alongside your email and chat, where a workflow can answer them.

Authorize the profile, choose the locations

You authorize Google Business Profile through Google's standard sign-in, then pick which account and which locations to bring in. Multi-location businesses choose the ones they want rather than all of them. The reviews already sitting on those locations come across too, so you start with the backlog instead of only what arrives next. Each review carries the reviewer, the star rating, the location it was left on, and what they wrote.

Workflows triggered by a new or edited review

A review can start a workflow the moment it lands, and again if the reviewer edits it later. Describe what should happen in plain language.

"When a five star review comes in, draft a short thank you that mentions what they praised"

Positive reviews get answered while they are still recent, in your voice, without anyone setting a reminder to check.

"If a review is three stars or lower, create a DoBox task for the location manager and do not reply automatically"

The reviews that need a human get one. The task carries the review, the rating and the location, so whoever picks it up has the context.

"When somebody edits a review, check whether the rating went up and update our reply"

A one star that becomes a four star after you fixed the problem is worth answering again. Editing a reply you already left works the same way as posting the first one.

"Draft replies grounded in what we have written down about our policies"

The answer about your refund policy comes from the Brain rather than from a guess, so it matches what your team actually tells people.

"Every Monday, summarize last week's reviews by location for the owners"

Patterns across locations surface on their own, rather than being noticed the next time somebody happens to look.

"If a review mentions a specific member of staff, add a note to their page in the Brain"

Praise and complaints about individuals accumulate somewhere useful instead of scrolling away.

Reviews that need a person become tracked work

Reviews that need a person become tasks

A review you do not want answered automatically becomes tracked work with an owner, instead of a tab somebody meant to come back to and did not.

Rating and location travel with it

The task carries the reviewer, the star rating, the location and the full text, so whoever picks it up does not have to go and find the review again.

Several locations, one queue

Reviews across every location you connected arrive in the same place and can be assigned to whoever runs that location.

Nothing depends on remembering

No one has to log into the profile to find out that a two star review went up on Saturday.

Reviews in and replies out, not profile management

This integration is about reviews. It reads them and it can post or update your reply. It does not edit your business hours, publish posts, manage photos or answer the Q&A section, and we would rather say so than let you find out. What it does do is put the reviews in the same place as your email, your chat and your tasks, so answering one is the same kind of work as answering anything else.

The reviews nobody answered

Connect your Google Business Profile and the reviews sitting on it arrive alongside everything else, with the backlog included. A workflow can draft the reply, or post it once you trust the pattern.
