Connect Google Chat

  1. Connect a Google account first (see the Google section above).
  2. Go to the Integrations page and click Connect in the Google Chat box to enable Spaces and direct messages on your connected Google account.
  3. You’ll be redirected back to the Integrations page.

When you connect, this+that reads the last month of your Google Chat history and then keeps up with new messages. How long that first pass takes depends on how much you have, so a busy workspace takes longer than a quiet one. Tasks build up as it goes rather than appearing the moment you connect.
